Definetly!Im sick to death of Private school politicians who are so out of touch from reality. Working class people know what annoys the public more than anyone else and I would definetly vote for someone with this kind of background. It shouldn't be about money any more, If somebody is intelligent enough to run as a politlcian from a working class background, I would back them all the way. They are so much more in the know about issues that are relevant to us today.
Take immigration, politicans nowadays don't see the problem, this is because they have the money to not live in communities affected by it. It is destroying this country and working folk know that as they are in the thick of it.

All governments should be run by ordinary people picked at random. Like jury service. Sometimes they would pass crazy laws, but most of the time they would be better than professional politicians, who tend to just be greedy egoists in expensive suits.

Instead of elections, we should have a lottery system. Each month 12 winners get to run the government. They can only do it once, until everyone else has had a go.

Yes of course, anyone should be able to run for office, it should not be something that is only available to the elite, every citizen must have the right to at least run for office, and yes if i liked someones policies from the grass roots community i would vote for them.

Ordinary working folks are themselves politicians becous politics exist in all aspects of human society.
Leftwich defined politics not in terms of an arena or set of institutions where certain activities occure.Instead,in his view politics is made up of all activities of conflict and co-operation which occure within the society which makes it possible for human beings to go about their normal activities during their biological and social life
