actually i think it is an insult. to help you think of counter arguments against this
1. most women in beauty pageants are slim, have perfect smiles whatsoever. on the other hand, most women are not like that.
2. why do they have to wear two piece?

I think that childrens beauty peagents are an insult to children, over zealist mothers abusing their kids human rights by parading them around like dressed up Barbie dolls.

It may not be an insult as such as the women entering are doing it because they are proud of themselves - it may however be the criteria that some women are unable to measure up to that is the insult - in parading "beautiful people" in front of us every day mothers and wifes that will never look like that.

Beauty pagents arent so popular in England. Most girls prefer to put on shell suits and hang around shopping malls eating chips and dreaming about becoming a teenage mother with a council house paid for by decent folk
