Hiya,
1. weight loss/gain
2. lack of sleep/ 2 much sleep
3. crying/ feeling of sadness for no apparent reason.
4. A lack of emotion, not so much sadness but a feeling of nothingness.
5. panic attacks/anxiety (1 usually causes the other)
6. a lack of personal hygiene ie can't be bothered with image, washing hair, shaving, make up etc.

These are only some of the signs. If you feel/notice any of these it is really important to see a doctor or at least talk to someone. Depression is nothing to be ashamed of and needs to be talked about more. Sometimes meds aren't neccessary and you could be helped in other ways.

Best of luck and love

Okay can only tell you how I felt when I suffered from depression for 2 years...

I felt tired all the time, but was unable to sleep at night.
I lost my appetite.
I Cried all the time, at the stupidest of things, anything could set me off.
I had no motivation to do anything.

Thats just to name a few, but they were my most significant signs that I was suffering from depression.

General feelings of 'dislocation', of not caring about your appearance, being tired, unable to motivate yourself, maybe crying a lot about nothing, feeling dull and dead inside, not feeling the usual highs and lows of life, and not smiling. Those are some of the things I felt.
