Multi-vitamins frequently include things that your body can't absorb all at once, like calcium and iron. Both of those things are very important and you end up getting neither one. This being said, taking a multi-vitamin is better than taking nothing at all. If you aren't using any supplements a multi-v is not a bad idea.

Of course its possible... Of course they work, but mostly for the manufacturers and their profit line. Eat decent food, excercise properly, forget McDonalds, KFC and sh*t like that and you won't need extra vitamins and you won't add to their coffers and take out of yours...

when I was doing the Atkins diet I was feeling really cr*p till I took multi vitimins..I went on to lose 2 stone!!

Obviously they have to contain what is says it contains. But how it effects your body is a different story. I think its better to take them than nothing ESPECIALLY if you aint eatin no fruit or veg.

They can be of use to older people and women who are pregnant, but otherwise they aint of much use

better to take it than not to take it, your body will dispense of what is not needed in your urine
