RENDEZVOUS -Rendezvous is the anglification of the French word Rendez-vous meaning "appointment". (literally, meet you); it is properly pronounced RAWN-day-voo (but sometimes as RAWN-de-voo, RON-day-voo or RON-de-voo). This is the most wrongly pronounced word in English as far as I have observed. leisure, in the noun sense
the verb is pronounced as lee-zhuh-r
the noun is pronounced as l-e-zhuh-r (the e is pronouned like the e in mega)
