I am fed up of essays telling us not to cut trees. We need furnitures, rubbers, papers etc which we obtain from trees. And I have also heard that TOO many trees means too much of oxygen in the atmosphere which is not good! Too much oxygen can cause fire because oxygen helps fire to burn. Please give me reasonable answers!!!!

I don't agree with no cutting trees.

I think it should be don't cut up too much trees!

Nature always finds a way to balance anomalies, so that oxygen bull is crap.

And about the fire, i think the oxygen needed to start the fires will be consumed by the ever growing population.

I'm sorry, but your post is utter nonsense.... in the first place, the things we "need" from trees come from exploiting (destroying) the natural environment for our convenience. The things you mentioned should all be recycled and used sparingly. The sad fact is that our insane, insatiable demand for wood products is causing intense pressure for more and more wood which causes more and more damaging clear cutting and destroys the forests... until they are all gone.

FORESTS ARE ESSENTIAL FOR HUMAN SURVIVAL!!!!!!! Forests convert carbon dioxide into oxygen which is released into the atmosphere. Too much oxygen?? Are you kidding? Without oxygen, any living creature is dead in 15 minutes!!! The fact is that this world is choking on Carbon Dioxide at a rate many times faster than the forests (especially the rain forests of Brazil, which produce half of the world's oxygen supply) can convert back to Oxygen. Believe me OXYGEN IS IN VERY SHORT SUPPLY in this world!!! (why do you think Oxygen bars are popping up all over the world???) And it's getting worse every day as pollution by the millions of tons per day is entering the atmosphere. And please.. the oxygen released into the atmosphere is part of air, which obviously does not burn, because the oxygen content in air is very small compared to nitrogen and other compounds. You need to take a course in Ecology and start caring about the earth while it is still around!!!!!!!

The oxygen thing is bull. In what way do we need to cut new trees for furniture when the old stuff is perfectly useable or mendable. If everyone on the planet had the lifestyle of the average American we would need 3 planet Earths just to feed them. The atmosphere has kept itself in balance for the last few billion years without human beings messing it up. We come along and mess it up in less than 1000. Do the math.
