Over the years, I've had a LOT of jobs: Barman, labourer, furniture deliverer, carpenter, mailman, secretary, typist, light-bulb seller, security trainer, site manager, fruit picker, fisherman, potman, scaffolder, burglar alarm maker, factory worker etc. etc.

Of these jobs, I've hated about 80% of them, and the remaining 20% have all had major downsides (working with idiots, too much time spent at work, getting attacked, endless monotony etc. etc).

However, the job I'm at now (I've been here for about a month) is really hard and stressful, but I just realised today how much I like it. It's my first really important job (i.e. people die if I screw up), I pretty much keep my own hours, I don't really have a boss and the people I talk to all day are really friendly and appreciative.

Does anyone else really like the job they're in?

My job is decent...I get to research stuff and do data entry - both of which I'm very good at. My boss is really cool, the coolest lady I've ever worked for. My only complaint is that I have to work with engineers who don't know how to fill out paperwork correctly.... But the best part about my job is that I can sit here in Answers and mess around and nobody notices! Thanks for the reminder that my job is, in fact, pretty cool!

like the job I have now? hum does being unemployed and sitting way too much at the computer learning how to be a computer person with a little bit of knowledge so I can perhaps pick up a better job when I do go back into the job market count as a kind of gainfull type thing? If not well never mind and you have yourself just one heck of a great day!

I've had 2 full time jobs since finishing school, and I've enjoyed both of them! My first job I liked because I made a lot of friends there, and even though the work was kinda mundane, I had a lot of fun doing it! The job I'm doing now really challenges me and I love that. I work in an office of 7 and we all get along really well, so that helps as well!!

I hate my job. My boss is a jerk, my other boss (his wife) is an idiot, the people i work with are annoying, it's really boring and the money is bad. Everyday i think of quitting but i never do because there are a few good things about this job.
It's really near my house, 10 minutes on foot, they always pay me on time and i spend most of the day on the internet.

I've had several differant jobs also. Haven't as yet found one I really liked doing. Was at my last one for 10 years. Left it when we moved. Still hoping to find the right one that I want to go to everyday.

Just realized that myself this week when I WANTED to buy a coworker a birthday present. We do a lot of serious, highly technical work(surgical facility) but we goof off a fair amount to when there are no patients.

I totally love my job, tonite I had a stabbing victim, cops were everywhere, a drug overdoser freaking out, some car crash victims, heart attacks, it's so exciting and it helps the time pass quickly.

I like my job 80% of the time. I prepare and correct maps of native forest types in Queensland Australia.
What type of job is that you do?
