Shah Rukh Khan (Hindi: शाहरुख़ ख़ान, Urdu: شاه رخ خان), pronunciation: /ʃɑːhrux xɑːn/ (also known as SRK or King Khan), born November 2, 1965, New Delhi, India, is a Bollywood actor, and one of the most popular Indian movie stars.[1]
Background
Born into a Muslim family of Pathan origin in Delhi, he has a Masters Degree in Mass Communication from Jamia Milia Islamia, Delhi. He is married to Gauri Khan who is a Hindu. They have two children his son, Aryan Khan and his daughter Suhana Khan. His family's main residence is in the Mumbai suburb of Bandra.
Career
Shah Rukh Khan started his career while appearing on various television series, particularly when playing the role of 'Abhimanyu' in in war drama series Fauji (Soldier) 1988, a minor role in Circus in 1989, which depicted the life of circus performers etc. The acting stint in Fauji caught the attention of Hema Malini who is said to have recommended his name for his film debut. He made his movie debut in 1992 with Deewana opposite the late actress Divya Bharti which was a big hit. His first film was actually supposed to be Dil Aashna Hai but Deewana released first. The same year he appeared in films such as Chamatkar, the controversial art film Maya Memsaab etc. This film was very controversial because it had an "explicit for Bollywood" sex scene between Khan and actress Deepa Sahi.

Don't you mean Shah Rukh Khan?
He's a pretty big Bollywood Actor, been in a lot of movies, etc - Mohabbatein, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, etc.
