She can be what she wants for me, she is not what you could call a stunning looker, but there is something about her that makes me want to eat her up.

well, the only thing that lucy and i have in common is sharing the same surname! but otherwise, since ally mcbeal, of which she was very good, her film roles have hardly set the movie world alight. alas, i am as far from impressed in them, though i would like to see lucy doing some challenging roles. but i never doubted her ability, ever since i first saw her on ally mcbeal. i was never a huge fan of the charlie's angel's movies; in fact i don't watch those types of flicks whatsoever. it would be a great shame if lucy was to be remembered as one of those actresses, who after a promising career on tv, has failed to make that successful transition to cinema. but as a young chinese woman myself, i do look up to her for inspiration and as an example of someone of my own race making a success in a profession, that is predomiantely superceded by A-list white actresses. what a shame that as a british born chinese person myself, there is no one from TV, music, film who is chinese that i could relate and look up to. black brits have plenty of positive black rolemodels and the same goes for whites, asians- likewise, boxing's amir khan to name. but for me, it is different, and i am dissapointed by that. but at least with lucy liu, ming-na wen-of who was in ER, and kelly hu- who appeared in martial law and the jet li film cradle 2 the grave- even though they are of american descent, i am glad that they are in the showbiz profession.

but back to lucy liu, i'm sure she's a lovely person-from what i've seen in the interviews, she's very articulate and a reasonably good actress; plus very outspoken she is too!

I met her at the Charlies Angles 2 premier, and she took time to sign autographs and talk to the crowd. Nice lady.
