oooh pretty bad. usually it helps if you can push down on your abdomen really hard while peeing. i know it sounds weird. but but pushing down there, it collapses the vaginal canal and straining will perhaps force it out a little. if not, i would say definitly go to a gyno. They can extract it. If you really dont want to, get your bf to take it out for you. it's prob easier for him than you because he can use a flashlight and figure out exactly what's going on down there. good luck!

RE:
WOMEN AND DOCTORS ONLY: Help! There is a tampon stuck inside me- what do I do?
I know this is gross but I can't get it out. I need some advice. I forgot to take it out before having sex and I guess it got pushed far into my vagina. I can reach it with one finger but can't get a grip on it. What should I do?

If you can't get it, you will need to go to your doctor to have it removed. Don't wait, though, because especially with the amount of handling to the area you've done and with intercourse, you are running a higher risk of infection let alone the amount time the tampon is inside of you.

you need to get it out asp
the tampon will get bigger as it gets wet and makes it larger and harder to get out
it is very important that you get yourself to the nearest hospital as soon as possible. The tampon that is stuck will cause an infection very quickly, and could possibly even lead to toxic shock syndrome, the symptoms being sudden onset of high fever, vomiting or diarrhoea, nausea, headaches or muscular pains, fainting and dizziness, and sometimes a rash like sunburn can appear. Toxic shock syndrome can be fatal if it's not treated in the early stages, that is why I stress to you how important it is you get to a hospital to have the tampon removed.

I would try like hell to get it, but if you can't definately go to the dr. IMMEDIATELY...there's probably a slew of things that can go wrong...tss I'm assuming....get it out asap...it is imbarassing, however, these things DO happen, and that's why the dr.'s are there!

Relax. If you can feel it with a finger it is not too far out of reach. Go to Bed, Bath and Beyond and get a pair of long, plastic non- stick type tongs. Wash them and sanitize them with rubbing alcohol. Have your BF pluck out the tampon with the tongs. If he cannot get it out go to the clinic........ otherwise risk toxic shock, which can kill you, in 3 to 5 days.

Go to the doctor before you get an infection. My sister had it happen to her and when we got to the doctor, she was embarrassed but the doctor told her that it is way more common than she thought. By the way, why are you having sex during your period? Gross and unsanitary.
