Because all people ever remember is all the bad things that someone does, but rarely ever the good things. When they think of the whole picture, it's only the bad memories and feelings that make it to the top, and the good ones seem to get lost somewhere in the picture.

You know the old say, time heals all wounds? Well, time does eventually take away the sting, but you never forget. You need to move on, which is easier said than done, and occupy your time and energy in other areas that you enjoy. Eventually, it is very healing to forgive. This will probably take many years, but it will come, and it cleanses the soul. I would throw myself into an activity that I really enjoy, volunteer helping others, and it will lessen the bad thoughts.
Don't let it eat at your soul.

bad things are bad things, these are negative thoughts in your brain and the only way to forget this is to move on.

because it really hurt you even if things do get better somthing will happen or will ba said that will remind you of what he has done.

i wish i knew the answer to this myself. sometimes when you love someone you can't help but to ask why...the only thing that will help is time and if he doesn't repeat what he did ever again
