Because Bush is an idiot. Maybe there's an explanation for the money (food for the poor?) but waiving the inspections was absurd.

yep I guess it's a wash...both Clinton and Bush believed the pot bellied little dog eater. Damn foriegners can't never trust the little buggers. But since you probably hate Bush more than you love Clinton (if that's possible) Bush is by far more to blame right? Why not blame that sick twisted funny haired Korean leader and maybe pray that the rest of the world steps up to the plate and gets tough with him and stops him before he kills millions of innocient folks.

Yes! The U.S. has been duped by this Despot too many times. It would be nice to see a virtual blockade on his country (I don't think an actual blockade is possible, is it?), but then the N. Korean people would suffer even more then they have.
[Hey, "crusinthru"... Perhaps you thought you were being funny (not), but name calling is name calling and perpetuates bigotry. And hopefully that is one of the things the people of the U.S. stand against. If you believe what you were saying, you're excused. You're just ignorant.]
The bigger question is; what to do now. I know some fool will say "bomb 'em", but that will only defeat the principal, not the problem.

Why? Why? Why?

Why do we give two billion dollars to Egypt every year, and they vote 80% against U.S. at the U.N.?

Why do our elected officials keep supporting the rest of the world by giving out I.O.U.'s from the National Debt?

Somebody, some day is going to be asked to repay this 8.5 trillion dollar national debt.

I believe so much is being done in secrecy, and we'll never get the answers we seek from elected officials.

Bush did it.......no Clinton did it...no Reagan did it.....no Bush, Sr. did it...........hell we might as well let our high school students lead the country, but we clearly do not have any leadership in the White House.

Bush sometimes commits mistakes by giving money to other countries not thinking that, " it will bite the hand that feeds them".

Clinton gave them money as well....both presidents were under the impression kim jong il would keep his part of the deal...but as you now know, he lied both times just to get money, and aid...he's the one who brought this upon is country...Both times kim jong il broke the agreement...
