I think if you don't, you will always have that piece of you wonder. I hope that if and when you find your father, you start a relationship that is good. You will never have that kind of relationship that you should have had. I am sure he has been knowing that one or all of you would be searching for him and would be having those questions for him. He has to have had it on the back of his mind. Maybe he was scared at the time. You have the right to know. I will be praying for you or your siblings do search for your father. Best wishes to you.

People change and maybe your father wants to meet you now. It will resolve a lot of questions in your mind and be good to find out who your Father is. He may be a disappointment to you or may be you can develop a good relationship. What do you have to loose? This happened to my daughter when she turned 16 she wanted to meet her Dad and I never discouraged it. She found out she loved her Grandad but had little in common with her Dad. She said, " Her step dad had been a good dad to her and she really didn't need her Dad after all."

I think you should go for it. Whats the worst that can happen? he may not want to know you but that doesn't make any difference, or he wanted to contact you but never had the guts. Be the bigger person and ask why he never contacted you. Good luck

Obviously, you have a lot of unanswered questions, why, how when? He might also have a good explanation why he left, maybe he wanted to see you and your sister.. As you mature, these questions will never be answered. I would suggest for you to seek your answers and meet your father. godd luck!!!!
