There is no such a thing as "safe" sex based only on the calculation of your natural cycle. It is a little known fact that women can ovulate more than once during their cycle (an orgasm can stimulate the release of an additional egg, which will be then fertilized and you will get pregnant) and ovulation can be also be out of sync for a lot of chemical, psychological and stress-related reasons.

Not wanting to get pregnant is a stressor too! Nowadays there are a lot of means available for contraception, many of them are available on the free market and on health plans, and even condoms are safer than relying on the women's natural cycle, and have the advantage of also protecting your health. This is not only from STD, but from pretty simple bacterial infections as well.

what you're talking about is the rhythym method. It's only 40% effective. But the safe time to have sex is the five days right after your period. At that time, the egg is still getting ready to ovulate to the uterus. It's not really recommended. Instead, you can get an IUD. I'm using mirena. it's very effective.

Absolutely not! There is no safe time for sex in your cycle - there is just a less unsafe time. The "safe time" and withdrawal methods of family planning are nothing more than a sexual version of Russian Roulette.

no longer a sturdy determination of while it may be "secure" to have intercourse. you may get into the habit of protecting track of your ovulation, which will extra useful help determine what situations throughout the month are extra effective for procreation, and for that reason averting those situations. Going with the aid of the 1st day of your final era will no longer be sturdy adequate.

it is very ill-advised to guess when you can have safe (presumably you do not want to get pregnant, rather than are concerned about STDs). get yourself down to family planning and sort yourself out with some contraception.
