they wanted austin to lose so he said F u, bcuz he wanted JR back but if he lost JR wouldnt come back so he HURT himself moving Furniture... so thats why batista had to take his place

He was told to job(lose) against the Coach, but refused to do so, so basically the storyline was scrapped, and was replaced to just a street fight between The Coach and Batista.

Because his neck is not in good shape for him to wrestle again, not even against Coach. Also becuase that might make people think he is going to wrestler all the time, that he is coming back and is going to wrestle all the time now, but he can't. Even if he wanted to.

He didnt want to lose to Coach, so he left. Kind of like when he refused to wrestle Scott Hall when the nWo was on Smackdown
