Get your friends to teach you techniques for approaching and talking to boys. They can teach you the do's and don'ts if they have been dating. Role playing is a lot of fun. You can make up different scenarios and it might get kind of silly but you will not be so nervous to approach and talk to boys after that. Good luck.

well, i've never had that problem. i am usually too comfortable with boys and they with me. and i usually end up as just a 'friend'. i can say though just do it. try practicing on someone (a guy) that you are already comfortable with, like a brother, or cousin or something, even one of your friend's brothers. Start out with someone that you just want to be friends with and talk to them like you would your other friends. just make sure you don't try too hard, or you just might mess things up, because when you try too much people can usually tell. don't worry so much. it'll be fine.

I was like that at your age. I grew out of it by being involved in groups that gave me a little safe exposure to them. Like a church youth group, that might help.
