My boyfriend has been taking Sea Kelp for a couple of months and he feels so much better. I am having problems with my weight and I bite my nails so this would be the perfect thing for me to take. However ...... does anyone know if it affects the contraceptive pill i.e. Microgynon? I know St. Johns Wort does and the websites all just say "..some herbal remedies" may affect it. Any help would be gratefully recieved!!

Thee are no contraindications regarding the pill, but if you have any thyroid problems, heart, blood pressure etc, stay well clear.

Also if you do ever get pregnant, stop taking it, as it can cause uterine contractions and can cause you to miscarry the baby.

If you are refering to brown seaweed, or Limu Moui, it is a complete food and will not affect the pill. I invite you to go to my site, and get information. The Limu product comes from waters from the island of Tonga, unlike Japan and other countries that manufacture this product, Tonga has unpolluted waters, therefore you get no chemicals with the product. Please visit my site and if you have any questions, feel free to email me.

I have been on this product since June, and have never felt better. It is amazing what it can do for a persons health. If you have no health problems, it is a great preventative for any.

take care

Some thyroid disorders can be cured, but many require lifetime treatment. Learn here https://tr.im/FigMD
For example, sometimes early stage thyroid cancer can be cured by surgery to remove the thyroid gland, but you will need to take thyroid hormone medication afterwards for the rest of your life. Goiters can also be surgically removed and do not always recur after surgery. In most cases, thyroid disorders need treatment over a lifetime. However, with treatment most people with thyroid disorders can live normal, healthy lives.
