My kids refuse to be involved with my x husbands girlfriend because of the way she treated them, I tried to mend the peace, and even tried with professional help, my x and the girlfriend refuse to help me and just blame me for the fact that my kids don't want to see him if he is with her. I don't know what to do.
Now he is threatening to stop paying my alimony and the kids maintenance, can he do that?

As for the support the first answer to your question is correct. As for the alimony that can only stop if you want it too you get re-married or the time specified in your court docs says he has to stop. They are just idle threats pay no attention. if hes stops paying and does not pay for a certain amount of time they can garnish his wage revoke his Drivers lic and passport. so your are pretty protected.

relies upon on who's receiving the alimony. purely interior the case that the recipient gets remarried does the guy who's paying the alimony end. - if the guy is paying the girl he purely stops whilst the girls gets married or get a activity have been she is getting paid extra money than the ex.

Court order says "he has to pay." As for the alimony that stops when you remarry or through the courts.

If you have a legal order he can't do it. Well, he can do it, but he can get in big trouble for doing it. Turn him in to the DA.
Turn him in to the courts.

As long as you and the kids know that you aren't the one keeping them from him.....then only he believes his lies.

I have a nightmare of an X. I understand the crap that they can put you. through.

Be strong. The best revenge is for you to be happy

The courts decide if payment are stopped...each state has different laws and ages to terminate payments...contact child services for answers...lot cheaper than an attorney

he can't stop it unless you say it's o.k., he dies, he signs his rights as their parents away or until they finish college
