b. it is rare for a woman to be colorblind although in this case she is. When you do the punnet square the sons will have a probability of getting them and the daughters will be carriers of the gene.

the genes for colorblindness resides on the X chromosome, which men have only one. the answer is b sons colorblind daughters carriers.

First things first. Females cannot be colorblind (well they can, but it's rare). Women can only be carriers. The first woman is a carrier. The first daughter could be a carrier or not, we don't know for sure. The second daughter is a carrier. Her daughter could be a carrier or not, we don't know for sure. Look in your biology textbook.

it would be e if the man didnt get it from his parents then he would only have one gene from that and one of of parents and the woman's 2 reg dominant genes overpower the other colorblind one. this is just a guess though.

colour blindness is the sex linked inheritence which is associated with the X chromosome. if the gene is located on one chromosome of woman(XcX) the woman would be the carrier for it n if it is present on btoth the Chromosome (XcXc) woman will be color blind. n if a color blind woman marries with a normal man thier all the Daughters will be carrier for this disease and their all the sons will be Colour blind(XcY). hope u have got.

Women are seldom color blind, because this recessive trait is found on the Y chromosome, of which women don't have. So you gotta consider that when you answer this question.
