Dress well, try not to be quick and not too slow when talking. Have confident. Stand well and dont slouch. Make eye contact with almost everyone, have a bit of smile... dont go hmmm ummm eerrrrr! You can break the ice by introducing yourself in humorous but no TOO funny way.
GOOD LUCK BUDDY!

Is it an English speaking contest, if so make sure you use terms that you can deal with. Don't try and be cleverer then you are!!! Use your natural charm and wit. How long does it need to be for? Do you need to know everything off by heart or are you allowed to have prompts? Here's a quote to start you off:
The trouble with jogging is that, by the time you realize you're not in shape for it, it's too far to walk back.

Don't you mean introduce, well don't worry about how you introduce yourself, let that come naturally. Start off by saying your name and age and where you are from. After that talk about yourself such as personality and your interests.
