Yes. You are what you eat. Guilty by association. Your friends impact the way you act and the things you do. Druggies hang with other Druggies. Alchoholics hang with other drinkers. Church goers hang with other Church goers.
Analyze what your friends do and decide if that is what you want for yourself. If its not then you should look for friends who are doing what you want to do.

Birds of a feather flock together :-) People of similiar interests, characters etc tend to click together. One can be affected and changed to be with the grouping - but that's the individual's choice/decision. No one can change you if you don't want to.
On the other hand, there are groups of people with not much common interests but get along well together, letting one another be what they are.

i don't think that your friends can effect the type of person that you are as long as you are a strong person and are not afraid of sayiing no. and no, i don't think that it is fair for people to judge you by the people that you hang around, but guess what, they do. don't feel bad though, they do it to the best of us!
