That the homeless in our part of the country came out of mental hospitals and institutions, and were thrown out of the national housing program after 93, when the government cancelled the funding for the program. Also have heard that 300,000 American veterans live on the street. A popular one is about how drug dealers, ex-murderers and dangerous ex-convicts take to the streets to hide from the police and society.
