Enlightenment is elevation in lifes understanding.
There is nothing like me enlightening others. But one can enlighten self by seeking, understanding and practising.
You can see the answer to 'Dallas M' Question 'Why can't I develop self control?, the best answer and the rating and comment bt the questioner where in he has mentioned about the enlightenment? Whether is it the enlightenment?

People, stop making up your own definitions. Enlightenment has a specific meaning. It is basically an awakening. In buddhism it is believed that once you are enlightened you will become free of desires, and once you no longer have any worldy desires you will be free from suffering. At this point you become a buddha or 'enlightened one'

It is seeing and living in the light, i.e. freeing your mind. I don't suppose I enlighten anyone else, but I try, these days, not to impose my views on others. That has been enlightening because my happiness is no longer dependant on being right.

One who is truly enlightened knows all that is worth knowing.
So he will not keep asking questions to get more enlightened.
There is nothing like "..more enlightenment .."
One is either enlightened or not enlightened .. and that's all.
