im trying to watch a movie using my playstation 2 and it asks me if i want to change the level of rating to level 8 using a code the code is a four number code

The real code is 7444 the other people are all wrong. Please chosse me for best answer thanks.

Yeah, the code is set by the user. Otherwise, the default code, I THINK is 1234 or 1111.

The code should have been set by the first person who used the PS2...

the code is usually set by someone who first encountered it..
if it was never set trying something like 9999 or 1234, those are usually defaults. if those don't work you can try anything else you think is default.
if that doesn't work ask whomever first used it.
otherwise, you're out of luck.

0, 1, 2, 3 i did not know the code on mine...this is what i tried on mine and it worked, good luck
