A friend of mine is big into making movies and editing and stuff...he recommended an apple laptop. i'm not sure how much they are, i have a compaq notebook and i like it for my movies...the whole 1 i've made so far. but yeah he says that the apples have more options and are better with the editing and movie making thing. check out a best buy or something like that and check out the software that you can buy.

In purchasing a new computer, one needs to ask onself this....What do I plan to do with this computer? This sets your parameters.

Gaming? You need big Ram and a sound and video card.......etc.

Your need is based on your function.

Systems can be custom built, but you need to determine your particular computer needs.
