a) Since the result is positive and not negative, there is a positive relationship between the two variables. This means that as one variable increases, the other one does as well. If the result were negative, say -0.9327, you would have an inverse relationship where one variable would decrease in value as the other one increased, and visa versa. The number 0.9327 can be rewritten as 93.27% by moving the decimal two places to the left. Now this number is easier to interpret; it looks like there is a VERY strong positive relationshp between the two variables. As one variable increases, the other will increase 93.27% of the time. If your result were closer to 0.5, you would say there is a moderate positive relationship, and numbers closer to 0.1 and smaller have weak relationships, if any.

b) I don't know if this correlation is valid. There are two main types of validity with most experiments: external and internal validity. How it was the experiment conducted, where all factors accounted for?

c) Assuming there is a high degree of internal validity, you can interpret the results as there being a strong positive correlation between heart rate and timing. I would be able to help you further but I honestly don't know what you meant by "timing". Do you mean "timing" as in a race, or in heart beats per minute, etc?

Hope this helps

What is timing? The measurement of interval between heart beats?
In any case, a correlation of .9327 is a high correlation, and it means that heartbeat is directly related to timing, or that timing is a good way to measure or specify heart rate,

A) thgey are higly correlated meaning that changes in one results in a predictable changes in th second.
B) it could be valid since we have no id3ea whaty the timing is
