I have been receiving e-mails on my yahoo account, which I am probably not supposed to be receiving.
The first couple of them was providing extension # of someone’s desk in the company and notifying that he’ll be away from the company on certain days, etc.
The latest one says,
“Stop sending me emails that you say I am sending to you”
even though I have not sent them any mail.

Sounds like an email worm. It could be on your pc, but it could also be on anyone's pc on the network. Email worms access the host computers address book in order to send out spam. Once one computer on the network is infected, the infection tends to spread rather quickly. Notify your IT department. They should be able to remove it.

It could be you having a bug..

OR MORE LIKELY...
it could be scam.. someone writing a spam email in the form of legitimate one......

Check with some of your friends if they receive any unintended email from you..

As for the person who send you the email, block his/their address/es

Rgds
