The game of football has changed DRAMATICALLY over the last 10 years...back in the 90's, it was possible to have a good rushing attack...but you have GOT to pass and spread the ball around nowadays...defenses are much bigger, faster, and stronger, thus preventing much on the ground, especially in the NFL...you got to pass to set up the run nowadays...however, I'm not a fan of the true "Texas Tech Spread Offense" they use now, particularly in college ball......you've just got 2 be balanced and pass more than you run.

LT had one bad game against the Steelers, other than that he is averaging 100 yards per game. He has never rushed for less than 1200 yards in a season (and 1200 was his rookie year). All three of those guys should break 1000 yards this season.

dont quite understand all the way what your trying to ask but here is an attempt
every team goes through changes in the offensive line and sometimes the poor play of a quarterback can lead to 8 men in the box causing difficulty in rushing
My best bet on rushing champ this year probably LT or fast willie parker who is a rising star his team has a losing record of 1-3 and he has 325 yards already

A 1,000 yard rushing season is not what it used to be; they play 16 games now. All a runner has to do is gain 63 yards per game.

Even guys who rush for over 1,000-1,500 yards in a season have games where they only rush for 45 yards.

Good point! Its killing my fantasy team. I have LJ, and Steven Jackson. The major wide receivers arent getting a lot of touchdowns either. You really have to watch the matchups. I'm playing Evans vs the Lions. I may even have to start Maurice-Jones Drew.

One of the problems is bad quarterbacks. Overall quarterback performance has been bad (Roethlisburger, Culpepper, etc). This has affected the running game as well
By the end of the season we will have at least 5-6 guys with 1000+ seasons.
My picks are:
LJ
LT
McGahee
Barber
Steven Jackson
Dunn

First of all, 1,000 yards is only 62.5 yards per game. That's nothing really. Second, teams are weary of potential injuries, so they make sure one running back will not get worn out.
