ok i have just upgraded my win 98 to win 2000, well i can use both operating systems. But when i go to win 2000 my monitor size is alright but when i check the colour settings in the display, settings. It only shows 1 colour which is 16 colour. While it should give a selection of: 256 colours, high colour 16-bit, true colour 24-bit and true colour 32-bit. So does any one know how to change it so i don't just have 1 colour range

You have to update the monitor driver or change the adapter settings.

You must reinstall the adaptor driver into Win 2000. If you don´t have the instalation disk, you can find it in the manufacturer´s site, or all around the internet.

Your diaplay adapter has not been correctly installed. Find out the name of your display card. And search the net for the diaplay adapter for it on win2000. Download, and install.

in case you have a common pc pc, your reveal screen could desire to have a sequence of buttons on the front backside under the reveal screen. those buttons alter the brightness of the reveal screen and likewise alter the reveal screen length in the reveal screen. update your graphics card driver to the newest one. This will fix it

ok man.. listen u must install drivers provided with ur moniter...
u will then be given more options like gamma ajustment.. etc.. stuff like tat..
