So, what IS up with the whole thumbs up/down thing ? How do you know if you have gotten a thumb ? Are they really worth 10pts up ? What about down ? I have no clue, but I try to give them a bunch... karma and all... don't think it's working...

Well cry sake, Ras, go back and check where ? Activity details ? Then I guess I have none either way. What do you people think I am doing here, just twiddling ? Peace people, thumbs up to you all.

Over the top, Stallone! Rrrghh!
Thumbing is a muscle reflex reaction.
That blonde is a Barbie doll clone! Thumb her down!
That man’s answer is long. Thumb him down!
That lady quoted Scripture! Don’t read it; just thumb her!
That babe’s got a hot lingerie photo! Give her a thumb!
This dude’s avatar has devil’s horns! Thumb him down! It happened to me!
What does that tell you?
There is a negative correlation between valuable answers and high thumb values!
More often than not, it’s about popularity of opinion – and on occasion, it’s about a well-edited, informative answer.
Most of my best answers ever – either got zero thumbs – or they got negative thumbs!
Sometimes, just sometimes, seeing negative thumbs shows you that you had put effort into your answer. Don’t make that your regular Yahoo goal, though – unless you can take the heat! LOL.

I like to see the glass as half full, so I ignore the thumbs down and only notice the thumbs up!

I get thumbs down all the time, someone will give me a thumbs down for this answer. I think it is really ridiculous when someone gives a normal answer, not offending anyone, and get a thumbs down. That just means they don't like their picture or avatar you know? jealousy.
Thumbs up on your already chosen best answer is worth 1 point. Regular thumbs up or thumbs down don't give or take points away.
I only give thumbs down when there is evil content in the answer.

Your brain just lets your thumb know which way to move .. up or down. Just let your brain have control and let go of the power. It'll all work out. Good Luck ! :)
