G'day Rickydon06,

Thank you for your question.

A supervolcano eruption would have a dramatic effect on climate and cause massive disruption. The worrying thing is that one is overdue for Yellowstone National Park which would cripple the US and Canadian economies for years and kill millions of people. The last explosion nearly killed off mankind 640,000 years ago.

A supervolcano refers to a volcano that produces the largest and most voluminous kinds of eruption on Earth. The actual explosivity of these eruptions varies, but the sheer volume of extruded magma is enough to radically alter the landscape and severely impact global climate for years, with a cataclysmic effect on life (see also Nuclear winter).

The term was originally coined by the producers of the BBC popular science program, Horizon, in 2000 to refer to these types of eruption. That investigation brought the subject more into the public eye, leading to further studies of the possible effects. At first, supervolcano was not a technical term used in volcanology, but more recently, in 2003 and 2004, the term has been used in articles. Though there is no well-defined minimum size for a "supervolcano", there are at least two types of volcanic eruption that have been identified as supervolcanoes: massive eruptions and large igneous provinces.

I have attached sources for your reference.

Regards

super volcano eruptes after every 50000 years as present in the books and other literature..in case of super volcano the volume of the caldera and volcanic vent gets so increased that it comes to the werge of explosion...and it explodes with lolts lots of energy..

sometimes people held SUPER VOLCANOES responsible for the extinction of dinosaurse....according to most of the ppl super volcano erupted and the emmision of gases was so emmense that these gases created a thick cover around the sun under the atmosphere.....due to this sunilight blocked and there was no light for many many million years....with no lihght no plan t life,no water, and hence in this way dinosaurse got extinct...due to super volcano....
but this is again a theory that relates super volcano with the extinctyion of dinos.....

The Discovery Channel had a fantastic documentary on Supervolcanoes. Yellowstone is one and scientists are watching it closely, because it is quite active. The magma chamber beneath Yellowstone is huge and it is growing by the day.

If a Supervolcano erupts (which has happened in the past), it would cause a nuclear winter like humanity has never seen. Crops would died. Animals would die. People would die, in great numbers. Those who survive would find it hard to live in a most unpleasant environment.

In the past this has been an extinction level event, changing the climate of the entire planet.

so we can rational use of energy like gas and others
we can make our food on hot lava from volcano

if the weather is cold it will calm it down
and we can skattering on it
