check with your state's department of health on where the free clinics are located in your area. you can also check to see if there is a county hospital close by.

also check with the state health department on getting signed up for free healthcare that is provided by the state you live in-it's a federal law for them to have this. since you are unemployed-you should meet the requirements to obtain this healthcare-it covers all doctor and hospital visits and medications at no cost to you.

in severe cases-report to the closest emergency room-it's against the law for them to refuse service to you b/c you don't have insurance or cannot pay the bill-they have to treat you

Go to the hospital but before they do any test of any kind ask to talk a person about a grant. They have grants that will cover this and you will have to pay nothing back. I know cuz i was in the same shoes you are right now. And i talked some ppl who worked at the hospital and they sent me to another lady to get a grant and it paid for all of my test and surgery. And it was nearly $10,000. And i dont have to pay anything back.

You can go to Social Services and apply for Medicaid. That will cover any hospital expenses. Just as well apply for food stamps too, you got to eat, to stay healthy, to get a job.
