Who knew old Babs had a potty mouth, but that aside....most of us like to go to concerts to forget about the turmoil in the world and everyday life. Unless you live in a box you know whats going on out there. Just sing and leave the politics at home or if you are that concerned pack in the singing gig and go run for office. What does a skit of GWB have to do with singing evergreen anyway?????? It is a concert not the repblican or democratic convention. Save your speeches for then. People pay to hear you sing not ram your own political beliefs down their throat.

I say she was responding to a relentless heckler in the audience that was just bent on ruining the show for her and everyone else. I'd say she was nice compared to what I might have done, ok. Oh and just because you pay for something, doesn't mean you are rewarded with special privledges or allowed to be disruptive, just because you have a ticket. Get real!!!

We, as a culture, have given people (especially celebrities) too much power to influence the culture. She's just an older woman with a liberal opinion in a conservative dominated culture. As an American she can speak her opinions just like the Dixie Chicks. Personally, I think that any real fans know how she is. So, they shouldn't have been surprised.

Though I am not a big fan of her music...I find her to be a decent actress and I got mad love for her now, Gotta love broads that don't take **** :)
So what if they paid for the show, payin doesn't grant you the right to be a prick with out consequence

he was heckling HER, not the other way around. she was doing a gag with a george w. bush impersonator, and some guy in the audience shouted that he didn't pay to see politics, and that she should sing already. that's when the outburst occurred. that's when she had the outburst.
i think if he paid to see her show, he should respect that fact that she is the perfomer and it's HER show.

Comedians get heckled all the time and they say something back, why shouldn't she? I don't care much for her myself, but she is human.

She's a liberal, Socialist wacko of the worst order who loves everything sick and rotten. Guaranteed it was a decent person she heckled. She's one of the Hollywood elite airheads, most of whom think alike and believe that evil in the world is the Republicans.

Sure he paid to see the show....HER show.... and that is who she is. Since when is it a sin to have liberal views.... that used to be considered a desirable trait. George Bush IS a bumbling idiot anyway so it was a true depiction.
Way to go Babs

Even if he did pay to see her show, the performer in question should get and deserve respect. You don't want to go to the movies with someone making alot of unnecessary noise or talking do you?
I respect Barbra for all her work and what she has given in the world of entertainment for 40+ yrs, and I think she deserves the respect that's due her.
