I would say this in my experience that fathers most give a young boy a easy role model not saying that a mother wont give the same. I only seen my father but twice but he had a good reason...he taking care of his mother so seeing him taking care of his mother gave me some prospective forced on family value..odd yes but i like being odd..
But both my Mom gave me firm, not to take crap for what crap is and always shot for the best loving and a basic understand what happen. My God Mother taught me to be real to people not to dance around the issuce.
Wish they gave me the essence to have decent grammer sorry if ya dont understand

I think that mothers and fathers should be equal. They both contribute to the raising of a child, and it should be the way a child see's them as equal. The child loves them both so they are equally important in a childs life. God Bless.

With topics like this one, I might consider another school. Honestly, in my opinion, either I don't understand the whole project or the school is as far out of line as some of Hitler's propagandists.
This scares me.

Kids need both. Fatherly role and Motherly role compliment each other. I guess one cant be better than the other unless one is a dead beat.

Is this a trick question for the children?
Because a child should not be taught to think one parent is better than another.
There are too many factors and every family is different.

Fathers are good at some things, mothers are good at others. Fathers teach boys to be men. . They teach girls how to be treated by men. (This by example, by how they treat their wives.)
Women teach and nurture, they love and guide, they teach tenderness. They teach girls to be women.
One is no better than the other! Both have their roles to play. And if you are trying to teach your child that men are better than women, or that women are better than men. Then you are teaching prejudice, and you are misleading to your child.
