Most underrated? MICHIGAN and then West Virginia. Of course I am a little biased because I like UM but I really think that those two teams are the most underrated. Come on, the polls didn't even have Michigan in the top ten before the season started. And in the battle of number one you have OSU...the team that's played no one!! Most over-rated?! OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY!

First of all, if the "experts" are saying a team is underrated then why aren't they rating them higher? I mean, aren't most of the "experts" people who vote in the polls (i.e., sportswriters, tv sports people and coaches)?
Anyway, I'd have to say there is no underrated team in college football right now. Michigan is rated about right. Boise State, Louisville are all getting appropriate props. You might make a case that Missouri or Va. Tech can be a notch higher, and there are alot of teams that I think are way overrated (Clemson? come on. And Texas is going to take a big d#mp before the year is over). But for once the rankings seem relatively consistent with reality.

Southern Illinois University! The Salukis are undefeated and ranked 7th in the division 1-AA poll. Somehow they fell from last weeks poll after winning their game. They beat a division 1-A team; the Indiana Hoosiers who just beat Illinois last week. They wouldn't have a chance vs. Ohio State, but, they deserve some more respect by the people who rank them.

University of San Diego. Josh Johnson is the equal of any college quarterback in the country, he's absolutley ripping it up right now. Small school, definitely not fashionable, but absolutley one to watch. Expecting big things from this kid.
