Depending upon how involved you might want to get, and what facilities are available....

Get some "squirrel corn" from a feed store (corn that is dried on the cob) and demonstrate/let them 'practice' rubbing that corn off the cob and grinding it--serve cornbread as a snack w/ butter and honey. A great hands-on activity that helps them appreciate the spirit of harvest time as well as having to work before a bite of food could ever go in their mouths like the Native Americans and early settlers lived every day.

Another 'fun' activity would be to make construction paper "pilgrims" and/or "Native Americans" that are shaped alot like gingerbread men and let them decorate them.

Pinecone turkeys. Make head and 'feathers' from construction paper.

Have fun!!!
