I'm confused about what you're trying to teach him. Is he stealing from her or wanting bribes or something? Or are you trying to buy him off real cheap? When I first saw the question, I thought you meant like the change my grandmother taped in my notebooks in case I needed to make a phone call or had a sudden need for Kotex in 3rd grade. Most likely, the teacher would interpret a dollar the same way I would except that in today's schools, he'd probably worry about her getting beaten up for her measly dollar.
Edit:
I saw your earlier question. If you're going to get into the prostitution business, sell yourself instead of your daughter and charge more than a buck.

I don't know what he needs to learn, but staple the dollar to the folder. That way your daughter won't lose the dollar, unless she looses the folder also

How old are you? If you are concerned about your daughter's teacher being a jerk, make an appointment to talk with him about your concerns, or talk to the principal about it. Act like an adult, for crying out loud.
