I still think the A's are going to take this Series in 5 or 6 Games because they have better starting pitching and a good bullpen! Ok look at the Starters they have Barry Zito, Esteban Loaiza, Dan Haren and Rich Harden. For the Bullpen they have Joe Blanton, Kiko Calero, Justin Duchscherer, Chad Gaudin, Joe Kennedy, Kirk Saarloos and One of the Best Closers out there in Huston Street!
Also they got some good hitters with Home Run Power in Milton Bradley, Eric Chavez, Bobby Kielty, Mark Kotsay, Jay Payton, Marco Scutaro, Nick Swisher, Frank Thomas and so on.

Hi George. You have a good point. I'm impressed w/ Leylands game plan though. You take out there ace against the Tigers 4th best starter. If all the Tigers starters come out w/ that fire Rogers started in them watch out oakland and look out in the world series. The last 4 games are by far the best I have ever seen the Tigers play. Very impressive. Keep it up boys. Later George.

Right-o GP! Take it one game at a time. I am sure Oakland is disappointed to lose but they know as well as the Tigers do that one game does not a series make.
I loved seeing Nate get some runs behind him and he was awesome and so was Inge but those A's won't remain passive for four games straight!
GO TIGERS!
PS Do we start thawing the octopus yet? Oh, wait, that's hockey

I agree with you, but it is hard not to get over excited to see your team who has been on the losing end for so many years finally come this far and I pray they go all the way. I was getting a little worried in the first 2 innings when I seen Zito strike out one right after the other but I was a little more hopeful when I seen we got 5 runs. I really do hope they can do it. They really do deserve this. Lets keep our fingers and toes crossed and keep praying they go all the way. GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't get too excited. The Yankees won game 1 of the series and look what happened to them. In a 7 game series anything can happen.

Tigers remind me of what my White Sox did last year. Lost the first game in the playoff and NEVER looked back. Will your team do that?

I predict the Tigers will lose the world series in game six to the Cardinals. I do like the Tigers tho, but just not happening this year. Sorry. My advice: get a red hat with STL on it.
