Vaginal infections such as yeast infections and bacterial infections occur when the environment of the vagina becomes altered. There is naturally ocurring bacteria in the vgainal tract that works to keep the vagina healthy, when this bacteria becomes disturbed it causes bad bacteria to flourish and healthy bacteria to diminish causing vaginal infections and associated irriatation. Women should never ever douche, use scented soaps, colored toilet paper, scented hygiene products etc. all of these things can disrupt the vaginal environment.
I'd check out: plannedparenthood.org
for more detailed info.
And, to clarify what others said---UTI's or bladder infections are typically caused by bacteria from the anal area, ie bacteria from feces entering the urethral opening/area. Infections can be prevented by wiping properly (always front to back) and by urinating before and after intercourse. And, never ever let your partner touch your anal area and then your vaginal area(with fingers or penis), it can transport that bad bacteria and cause a UTI.

Yes, realistically masturbation can cause infections to the
vagina. It is because the fingers or objects which are inserted
inside the vagina during masturbation are unclean and full of
bacteria or viruses.
If the bacteria or viruses are of the STD type, then the infection is
a serious one and it can cause excruciating pain and discomfort
to the infected person. In addition, a type of STD called herpes
(cold sore) once infected inside the vagina, is incurable,
because it can hibernate for a year without any signs shown.
However, other types like syphilis, gonorrhea or chlamydia, which reveals (outbreaks) itself within a week, are curable with
special type of drugs prescribed by the skin and STD specialists.
So, take good care of hygiene and check up with the STD
specialist for a worried mind.

have you told the doctor about these incidents? I think that you should. It does sound like you have an STD if there are bumps however, that could just be part of your body. The white discharge isn't uncommon and the vinegar smell sounds like a hygiene issue. I would go back to the doctor and tell them everything (including your worries about an infection in your uterus). Also you could get a blood test and scans done. If nothing shows up from swabs, blood tests and scans then you are fine.

I'm not to sure but I think if you use a vibrator that you used before and maybe not cleaned well enough it could be possible. It could also be a yeast infection, which could be caused by a number of things. You should go see a doctor.

You could get a urinary tract infection. UTI's are caused by bacteria. To prevent UTI's, doctors will tell you to urinate before and after sex, and to clean yourself. A shower is best afterwards. I would assume this is the same for masterbating.
Cranberry juice can help also.
