I never failed a grade but I did put myself back because that year my dad was real sick and he died and he was all I had on my mind and I made some bad grades and the school went on and passed me anyway and I just could not do the work so they let me repeat the same grade again. I graduated in 86 instead of 85.

I went to a school on a military base. The teachers were more interested in educating the officers children and the rest fell through the cracks. I fell through the cracks but in a way it helped me. I failed the first grade. I grew from it and began my love of books. You should try to see if you can take that test and graduate. It is important not only to you but one day your children will ask you the question. Are you going to tell them you failed??

I failed 6th grade. Lived in FL, grandma died & had to come to SC. Missed a lot of school.
Got mono in the 11th grade & missed 3 months of school. No point in going back so I just got my GED.

I have never failed a grade, but I did fail a class twice, once in high school and once in college. The one in college I was able to drop and did not count towards my GPA.

Sadly, I failed one class in 12th grade. World History. And it wasn't the homework, it was an oral presentation that got me. Stage fright.
