You should definately let us know what he is saying so we can properly answer. Some people never grow up and they are definatley not the people you will be hanging around with in another 5, 10 or 15 years.
I would have to say, just based on the information, that he is not worth the trouble and is probably way to imature to understand. Don't waste your air and if others that know you believe it then they are fools too. Your true friends always know what you do and do not do so trust in them. Good Luck

If you confront him, be prepared that he will get defensive and you both may fight.
You're of legal age so fighting will just end you up in jail.
Trust me, he is not worth your legal troubles.
One way to deal with it is to know that you are the most important person is his life since he's spent a great deal of time devoted to talking about you. That is very sad for him.
Go about your life and don't worry because the people in your life know the stuff isn't true. Perhaps he talks a great deal b/c he is jealous.
Don't waste time on this. He's obviously very lonely and craves attention and that is what he is looking for .

Yea you do. In fact, after you've given him some fair warnings to leave you alone, you can even call the cops and ask them to file a complaint against this guy for verbally harrassing you. It's harrassment because it's something he's doing in a repetitive, untruthful and persistent fashion--and those are the 3 main qualities that he has to satisfy in order for this to be considered by a legal authority to be a harassment situation.

Yes, you are right. You are acting more maturely than he does. But I suggest that you'll just ignore him and everything that he says about you behind your back. Because even if you tell him to stop, I guarantee you that he won't stop talking bad things about you. In fact, if you try to talk to him and tell him to stop doing it, he'll tease you even more by telling more bad things about you. Listen. He's not worth it. The guy's a dork. He's 24 and he's like not picking someone his own size. Just ignore him.

the more mature thing is to ignore it. he is just being a pric* he will get his in the end there is a reason people say things like what goes around comes around you know karma and all that . it would probably just stoke his fire if you called. do not give him the satisfaction of telling him he can bug you

handle it in a manner that won't in any way be looked down upon. the last thing you want is him to have more ammunition to pick on you. tell him to grow up and its sad that he doesnt have better things to do with his time when he's 24 years old, than to trash talk you.
