honey I'm sure you do love him, but maybe its time to ask the big question. When do you plan on finalizing your divorce sweetie just asking i mean it has been 7 years tech by law we could consider ourselves common law husband and wife. s*#T OR GET OFF THE POT HONEY. You and your kids deserve a man who loves all of you enough to do the right thing no matter how hard it is. good luck

Well, he hasn't made a committment to you for seven years. Why do you keep waiting? I know you "LOVE HIM", but really, what are you waiting for? It seems to me that you have one of two choices. Either accept the fact that he's a committment phobe, and move forward knowing there is no ring at the end of this relationship, OR you can just let him know that you are ready to make a decision about this relationship. Tell him you've waited long enough and that if he is not ready to commit to you by way of marriage, then you're ready to move on. BTW, this is not an ultimatum for him, it's a decision for you.

i have to agree with everyone else it's been this long you deserve to know where you stand and get those kids some stability! You obviously know something isn't right or else you wouldn't be asking people their opinion. Tell him no matter how much it cost he needs to get a divorce or your history. Think about it...if he loves you he should be willing to do this for you.

I would say that you reallly need to talk to him, and his wife, and find out what is preventing them from getting a divorce. You surely don't want to be hurt, or lose him, so find out now, don't wait any longer. It may be scary, but you need to do it, for yourself, and for your children, because they probably like him to be their father too.

nothing zero, nada, zilch. Why pay for the cow when you can get the milk for free, also there is a whole herd of cows standing by

sounds like he's just using you. if you really care for him,and want a future with him, tell him his time is up, either divorce his wife or move out. it's not fair to you for him to "have his cake and eat it too."
