I agree with VDC, recommending Olive Garden for Italian food is like recommending Taco Bell for Mexican food. I think its worth going over the bridge to North Beach in San Francisco to get Italian food.

Park somewhere else. Take BART to Rockridge Station. Walk up and down College Ave. There are so many good restaurants.
Be sure to finish up eating before the trains stop running.

Le Coco (all sorts of Italian food and very awesome pizza)
Zachary's Pizza (it's an institution)

well, i don't know about in that area, but i live in a neighboring town to SF and i loooove the Olive Garden. It's soooo yummy! I always get the fettuccine chicken alfredo. Yum yum!
