Check the fuses and brake relay. If those are fine then check the brake light switch which is located up towards the top of the brake pedal (there is a retainer clip that holds it onto a shaft and it also clips onto the rod that goes out to the master cylinder and there is a wiring harness that snaps into the top of it) pretty hard to remove and replace but if you have a little patience, you can do it. If the brake light switch don't take care of it, start checking the wiring harnesses for broken/split wires especially by the rear bumper if you have a plug wired in for trailers.

Did you try the break light switch itself???
It is located on the break peddle check it out.
