July 2005, I had my tubes tied. Recently, I've had alot of abdomal pain. It started out as what I thought was just cramps, over the last 2 weeks it's gotting worse. It's a constant pain now. My period's are not normal, they're either really heavy or just spotting. more so spotting with heavy discharge after. This past week, my breast started hurting, my lower back. I get light headed, weak, just almost no energy. Sex, well it just hurts. A couple months ago, I had a pap test come back adnormal, do to no insurance and no money, I'm not able to get the rest of the testing done. So I'm concerned, Could this be, that I'm pregnant or just something to do with the pap test? Please if you can help me in anyway, I would be greatful. Thank you for your time! nicole

forget about the cost. GET YOUR BUTT IN TO THE DOCTOR NOW!!! You can always arrange with the doctor and hospital to make payments. Most likely you are not pregnant, but you could have some kind of cancer and the longer you wait the deadlier it can be! If you already have children you owe it to them to get to your doctor!

An ectopic pregnancy may occur after hysterectomy, but it is incredibly uncommon. There are only 36 reports in the world's literature; in the United States alone, more than 400,000 hysterectomies are performed annually. Most of the reported cases (24 of the 36 described cases) happened immediately after the hysterectomy, apparently because an already fertilized egg was in transit down the fallopian tubes at the time of the surgery. Because pregnancy tests do not register until the fertilized egg has implanted (6-10 days after conception), even a pregnancy test done immediately before a hysterectomy will not pick up such cases.

Because the chance of an ectopic pregnancy occurring after a hysterectomy is so uncommon, there is no need to use any form of contraception afterwards. Of course, a hysterectomy does not protect one from sexually transmitted diseases, so condoms must still be used in a new or nonmonogamous sexual relationship!

Those don't sound like preg symptoms. But the answer to your question is yes. One in every 200 women who have a tubal will become pregnant. It happens more often than you think. Good Luck.

I can't imagine that you're pregnant but you certainly need to see a dr. Is there a clinic you can go to or some sort of state aide you can get? I don't blame you for being concerned...good luck to you. Hope you get medical attention soon.

I don't think you are pregnant but there is something wrong and you need to get it fixed. you may need to get a part of a hysterectomy but something is very wrong see your GP, go on some iron tablets because you sound as though your iron level is done.

i don't think it's possible but if you are so concerned, i think that the best advise i can give is speak to the doc that did your surgery or the doc who you were with that you discussed it with, he/she will be able to answer
