I have a vintage bike that I am restoring and I've bought several products to get the chrome/metal pieces looking better on the bike and I've had no luck. They are not really bad just regular wear. What should I use?

You will probably be best just to have the chrome items re-plated.There is only one chrome cleaner/polish that will do heavy work w/o damageing it. The product is called "Blue job" .It's primarily for pipes but will do heavy cleaning on any chrome surface,You may end up working you're but off to no avail.Seriously consider getting your parts plated, it's a gaurantee of a good result. *** Semichrome is a great polish ,but it is not for chrome, its great on aluminum ,brass and other softer metals. It is abrassive and will scratch and dull chrome.

I have to agree with "Ride ON". Semichrome is abrasive and used for polishing to high luster shine on soft metals like aluminum and brass. Polishing aluminum with semichrome, will give the surface a mirror like shine and make it look like chrome.

Try a product called Semichrome. It's a kickass polish that will restore and put a shine on any metal, unless it's pitted.
