Otherwise... you need to be a an adult in sims to have children.

I just realized, that if you are playing the original sims you cannot get pregnant.. you can only adopt. You can get pregnant in any of the Sims 2 games. The expansion pack for Sims 2 Pets comes out on October 17th.

The Sims 2 allows your sims to get pregnant-both male and female-with or without any expansion packs. You go through three "trimester" which is actually aproximately 72 hours game time (three days). The first day your sim is tired, he/she might through up and a bubble will pop up with a pacifier and a question mark. The next day their belly will pop up and they won't go to work until the baby is born. The third day the belly gets bigger; and a few game hours later, they go into labor.

Males can only get pregnant by aliens, so make sure you have a telescope handy if that's what you want.

For females to get pregnant, you need to make sure the two sims are 'in love', otherwise, the "Try for baby" option won't come up. It might take a few tries, but eventually you'll get a baby. If you need more info on how to get that option, let me know ;)

There are also cheats and hacked objects which can help you if you don't want to wait a long time for it to happen naturally. The InSiminator (forgive the spelling) is a handy little machine that gives you the option to be impregnated by almost anyone in the game, including aliens, the grimreaper and, with the right circumstance, even the therapist and social bunny. It also gives you the option of accelarating the pregnancy, so three days game time becomes more like 4-5 hours game time.

If you're interested in multiple births, you can check modthesims2.com for a hack which allows you to have up to four babies at a time. You can get twins with Open For Business without cheats by eating cheescake right after you hear the "baby" music after trying for baby. Eating it before you "do it" won't get you twins; you need to eat it afterwards.

uuuh. You can get pregnant on any of the sims2 pc games (never played it on any other console). If you don't want to give birth, then you can do the age cheat I believe. Use the aging cheat when you want your sim to basically "pause" he pregnancy,

I've never tried it, but it's worth a try.
