Same as they had given you in your childhood stupid.
Lots of unconditional love is what they actually need, and nothing else. Start treating them as your child, very young one and give them respect as God.
If you will follow these simple steps then you don't have to ask for suggestions or you don't have to read any books. That is simply bogus. Just follow the said things. Nobody can payback their parents but yes we can at least try to do something to make them happy.

Its so nice of you thinking about parents and their old age. In todays world.Its becoming rare and rare.
Thnx for the humanity.
You can always take care of parents by giving them respect, timely food, medicines and or health suppliments, proper shelter and most important is make them feel that yes you are there with them by heart.
See old age is like childhood + background nervousness that one is old. ok? So, take care of their emotional requirments also, one should not feel lonely. no matter even if their opinions are not needed for your certain decisions or work , still ask them as a elderly person. make them feel that they and their presence is really important for you.
Never forget that one day you are going to be older.
so behave with them the way you want to get handled by your children when you will be old.
Our elders are our blessings.
Have gr8 family life. have significant life.

Congrats thinking for parents so much even in this age
u need not to do anything,
simply try to understand
what really they want,
may be , sometimes they are wrong
so calmly reject if u cannot fulfill it.
and if their demands are right
fulfil it and show ur love & respect towards them.
don't neglect them in any condition ,
that can increase their insecurity ,
as they cannot earn, or do routines without help
and they feel like disables. just think, we are so young, and do everything with enthu. and at some age we too become dependant so it's too bad feeling as we have to take help of somebody. and so they loose their confidence
so first remove insecurity and ensure them
u r with them everytime

Excellent question. Just love & respect them as ever. Never let them down or neglect them. Let their importance be felt in the family. Thats what they need and they will be well protected.

dont let inferiority complex grow into them, which spells that they are at the mercy of the younger generation. We are here because of them, they are not here because of us. Dont let them feel that they have to stretch their hands out to beg from us, thier Children, They didnt let us down in our days of want. They deserve much much more. Just because they are weak and helpless, is not an excuse for us to not treat them well.
