The adjustment seems so sensitive and "light" is there any way to make it stay put? Or is it just something I have to live with???

No offense, and my last one tonight. I will never understand why it's so rare that questioners don't do a www general search using a browser and keywords. In this case Dewalt.com,,,click servicing links,,, stor locations for service and parts, and have THEM a resolve a problem which might be an easy fix for the company and trained Techs who deal with LIKE or SIMILAR issues.
