It depends upon what your motherboard supports. If your video is AGP, then your choices are limited, but the GeForce 7600GS is pretty good, and costs about $150.

If your motherboard is PCI-Express, the entire midrange to high-end is available to you. The sweet cards start at about $275 (Geforce 7900GT). Then moving on up, you get to the awesome 7950 and ATI X1900 etc. And of course with SLI/crossfire you can get into really expensive options of combining two cards...

I also agree the Geforce 7950 is the sweetest card on the market as I never been a fan of ATI as system builder due to there substandard drivers and it down to 281.50 at it lowest price

nVidia 7950 is the hottest deal going and the best bang for the buck for high-end gaming .. the top of the line ati is alittle better probably but much more expensive ... the 7950 is about 300$
